Life - Ulrik Munther
Today was a very sad and long day for everyone at the Anglo, but especially for grade 10. Daniela Jacobsen was hospitalized since the beginning of january, her condition went up and down and some days were better than others. A while ago she was moved to Houston because she got worse. Since then she didn't get better and early today we got the news that she would most likely not make it through the weekend. Later in the afternoon, she passed away.
Daniela was the most kind, caring, beautiful, intelligent, passionate, friendly and loving person I have ever met. I don't think there are many people out there who can compare to her wonderful personality. The way she cared for her friends and family and the her passion for learning and for art was inspiring. I don't think she ever realized but because of her, my first months of staying here became a little bit easier. She joined me in lunch, she would ask me to come along for parites or to hang ut with her friends. I know that she has helped others in similar ways too, so I can honestly say that she was an amazing person.
Daniela Jacobsen was an angel sent down to earth to spread her love and sunshine. She was a beloved person who will live with us forever, all her friends and family will never forget the happiness she spread.
I send my love and condolences to everyone who knew her. We will miss you Dani!

ReplyDeleteIt was something with her blood, she didn't have any more white blood cells and therefore no immune system to protect her, and in the end there was also something wrong with her kidney ..

DeleteI am so sorry for your loss Emilie. I see how special Daniela was to you. I live in Houston and have been thinking so much about Daniela and her family. Your blogs about Daniela are a beautiful homage to her. It sounds like she was a beautiful person in every way. Thank you for posting her picture and her art and for describing how wonderful she was as a person and as a friend. She truly was an angel. I send you my deepest condolonces. What a blessing to have a friend like you.
ReplyDeleteEmily, very nice your blog. I´m one of Dani´s sister, Juanita´s friend. I miss Juanita and Dani a lot. I´m thinking of her family right now, and hoping that Juana come´s back soon to Colombia and to the Anglo again. I´m really sorry about that, and when our teacher told us on Friday 4th of May that Daniela was probably gonna die that day, all the class started to cry for 20 minutes. I really hope that Daniela´s family feel better when they get home!!!

ReplyDeleteIm a fourth grade student her at the anglo i think that daniela was a blessing i never got to met her but i remember once i saw here and i told my friend that she looked like a really nice person although i never got to met her she will always be in my heart ever science they told my she had die i havent stop thinking of her and how she was suffering i really now what her family is feeling because i have been in that posision so im really sorry for her family and all her friends we were blessed by god because he gaves such a wonderful person and i hope i could be like her one day she took this angel very fast and im really sad because with all of the things people had written it really touches my heart and shows me that she is a great person!

Is very beautiful what you write about Daniela. I live in Istanbul I’m Colombian and through my mother I heard the news a couple months ago about her sickness. I can see that Daniela had wonderful friends and a wonderful family. Unfortunately this happened. I give all the blessings to her family, boyfriend and friends. I think Dani left us a beautiful message of life, we are very blessed to know her story and I hope deep from my heart that her close family and friends can overcome her parting with the least sadness possible. I pray for them.
