Happy new year everyone! 2012 was a very exciting year with many ups and a few downs, but I feel 2013 will be one of my best years yet! Oh how excited I am for all that is to come!
As a new year starts, new trends enter the stage, and one of this year's first spring/summer makeup trends is a flawless, glowing face. Radiance primers, tinted moisturizers, highlighters and blushers are all essentials for this spring's makeup bags. So hide away those full coverage, matte bases and dust off last summer's sheer beauties. Let your skin show through, and only where needed add some concealer. Bring back some life and light to your high-points (nose bridge and cheekbones are all coming out) and pop on a little bit of the favoured peachy blush. Skip the powders and stay with cream products and poof; you'll be supporting the top trend!
I love the natural, glowing look and will definitely pick up a few new creamy highlighters and blushers/bronzers as I do not own any. If you have a favourite you would like to recommend to me then please, tell me about it and I might check it out the next time I go shopping :)
